Tammisaari and Hanko – Finland´s sunny south On this tour you will visit the beautiful old wooden town of Tammisaari where a vast majority of the population is Swedish speaking and the majestic Hanko, the southernmost tip of Finland. Get to know Tammisaari, this beautiful small coastal town with its well preserved city centre like the colourful small wooden houses including the church dating from the 16th century. You head west and reach Hanko the southernmost tip of Finland where the Russian nobility enjoyed their summer holidays a hundred years ago. The lively summer town of Hanko is the centre point during the annual sailing regatta which is extremely popular with tourists from far and near. Remember to enjoy the amazing view of the sea and the Finnish archipelago. Turku – The former capital. Not to be missed is a visit in Turku, the oldest town in Finland. Along the banks of the river Aura are many interesting sights for you to explore: the Cathedral, the medieval castle, the Luostarinmäki Handicrafts Museum where time stands still, and much more. Don’t forget to visit the Market Hall and Market Square. The archipelago of Turku is one of the most beautiful in the world. Experience the beauty of the Finnish archipelago with all its numerous islands, summer cottages and above all the purity of Finnish nature while you are going to Naantali, one of the most picturesque cities in Finland. Famous sights include a former monastery, the Old Town with narrow streets and a unique charm, the summer residence of the Finnish president and the Moomin World, a real paradise for big and small kids. The Moomin world is a fairy tale world filled with joy and laughter that you can step right into.
